DMX Is Released From Prison

DMX is now a free man, after being released from prison yesterday (May 14).
The rapper (real name Earl Simmons) had served 90-days behind bars, but was discharged from the Maricopa County Jail in Phoenix, Arizona.
Simmons' lawyer tells the Associated Press: "He's extremely happy that he's home. We look forward to being able to handle his case with him out of custody."
DMX was sentenced in January for multiple charges, including drugs and animal cruelty.
However, all is not good for the hip-hop star. He must return to court again this month, over claims he threw his food tray at a correctional officer.
In other news, DMX denied he is entering the next season of Celebrity Rehab.
