DMC "I'd Love To Open For Lil Wayne"

D.M.C. has stated he would like to support Lil Wayne when the rapper next goes on the road touring.

The Run-DMC star, who now works as a solo artist, says: "When he drops that album [Wayne's upcoming 'Rebirth'] and goes on tour, I would love to open for him."

"I would open for Lil Wayne," D.M.C. continues to MTV. "I'm only DMC, I'm not Run-DMC. It'd be a privilege. I take joy in the creation of new music - I did what I did with Run DMC, but now I'm starting from the bottom."

DMC's second aolo album 'The Origins Of Block Music' is set for a June release, leading on from his 2006 debut, 'Checks, Thugs, and Rock N Roll'.
