Dizzee Rascal Set For UK Number One Single

Dizzee Rascal could be getting his first number 1 single this week, if midweek sales figures are anything to go off.
The UK rapper is currently leading sales with 'Dance Wiv Me' (read our review) - a collaboration with Chrome and Calvin Harris.
Talking to BBC Newsbeat, Rascal says: "It feels good because it's the first release on my own label and it's looking like it's going to the top. I hear Basshunter is on my tail but it doesn't matter. I've not heard his tune anyway."
Elsewhere in the interview, Dizzee talked of future collaborations he'd consider: "I'd love to collaborate with The Ting Tings on a song. I met them at Glastonbury and I told them I was going to do this cover" - that cover version can be heard here.
The London MC also added, "I'm working on my album now so we'll see what happens. I wouldn't mind doing some work with the Arctic Monkeys again too, but I haven't had a chance to speak to them yet."
