Devendra Banhart will begin touring shortly, with 12 gigs planned for the Summer months.

The folk songwriter, who revealed-recently that he'd begin work on his new album in September, will start his tour schedule by playing at the Pitchfork Music Festival at the end of July.

From here, Banhart will play at a few festivals before heading over to the UK for a headline tour of his own. Tickets for all the shows are on sale now, however several of the festival dates are sold out.
