Daniel Merriweather 'Received Death Threats'

Daniel Merriweather has revealed how obsessed fans of The Smiths sent him death threats, after he sang on a cover version of one of the band's songs.
The Aussie 'Red' singer collaboration with producer Mark Ronson on the single 'Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before', and it seems some fans were more than unhappy.
Merriweather told bebo.com/beat: "In true Smiths fan style it would always be via the internet. It would never be face to face but it was like 'I will stab you' 'I will hurt you'."
Daniel recently celebrated reaching number 2 in the UK album charts with his new record Love & War.
