Damon Albarn 'Blur Are Playing Glastonbury'

Blur will be performing at Glastonbury, frontman Damon Albarn has revealed.

Yesterday organiser Michael Eavis hinted the band would be appearing, but now the singer has confirmed the news is true.

"Yeah, we're doing Glasto this year," Damon told the Daily Mirror. "We were asked last year, but we turned them down."

"We need a few more warm-up gigs to get back into it, ready for the big one. Glastonbury's great."

Blur have three headline shows themselves coming up too, with dates in London and Manchester scheduled for June and July. Tickets for those comeback gigs are on sale here.
