Coldplay To Play Wembley Stadium 2009 Shows?

Coldplay have hinted they may perform 2009 UK shows at Wembley Stadium.
Recently the band have suggested they planned to hold events at Knebworth, following in the footsteps of Oasis and Robbie Williams.
But now frontman Chris Martin has revealed they are looking for a different location for the Summer shows.
"Well, we tried to get Knebworth but it just wasn't possible. So we're having to think of something else", says Martin. "In fact, I think we have thought of something else. Hopefully we'll be able to announce it soon."
The Wembley Stadium rumour was started as Chris added: "Hopefully it's not the same day that Oasis have booked it [the venue]."
Oasis will be holding three concerts at Wembley Stadium in July.
