Coldplay Tickets 'Selling For $1'

Coldplay tickets are changing hands for as little as $1, for the band's current U.S. tour.

The group have been on the road since May, playing stadium venues across the States, but it looks as though the global recession is taking its toll - fans are looking to cheaper alternatives when buying tickets.

Despite the face value ranging from $30 to $90, those wanting to attend are picking-up tickets for virtually nothing via auction sites, UK newspaper The Sun reveals.

It's though their extensive touring schedule is also to blame, as fans have had plenty of opportunities to witness the band live.

The paper reports that Chris Martin and friends will have performed 74 concerts in less than a year, on their 'Viva La Vida' tour.
