Christina Milian Suing Former Producer

Christina Milian is suing a former producer, saying that he lied about using a sample in one of her previous singles.

It is claimed in the suit that Poli Paul, who made her 2003 hit 'Dip It Low', told the singer that the song contained no samples.

However, Milian has since been involved in a legal battle with songwriters Thomas Turino, Larry Crook and Dan Dickey, who say a section of 'Dip It Low' was allegedly taken from their 1983 track 'La Sirena'.

The papers filed by Christina ask Paul to pay her legal fees and damages for defending herself in the case outlined above - which amounts to around $300,000 (£150,000).
