Christina Aguilera 'Is More Peaceful Since Motherhood'

Christina Aguilera has revealed that her own troubled upbringing causes her to strive to create a safe environment for her son.
The singer, who has admitted to having had an abusive father says the birth of son Max has made her more peaceful and patient, and she uses these new qualities to ensure that he has the calm upbringing that her own childhood lacked.
"Being a mom has taught me patience and I think he makes me more peaceful," she admits. "It's very important for me to create a really peaceful and safe environment for him because I didn't really have that growing up."
"So that's really important for me - to make sure my son feels that."
