Chris Martin Bought For £5000

Chris Martin, songwriter and frontman with Coldplay is to play a special one-off performance after being auctioned.
As we previously reported, Martin offered his musical services to the highest bidder in an online auction, to raise money for Canonbury Primary School.
An unamed parent from the school itself is said to have paid out £5000 for the experience, which will see Chris Martin performing one song for the child in the family's living room. Bidding apparently started at £400.
The cash raised will go towards funding a new resource and IT centre at the school.
