Chris Brown Hearing Delayed

Chris Brown will have to wait even longer to hear his sentencing, as a judge has pushed back the court date for a further three weeks.

The 'Forever' singer was supposed to be formerly sentenced yesterday (August 5th), at a Los Angeles Court - after he pleaded guilty to assaulting former girlfriend Rihanna last month.

Judge Patricia Schnegg said she wanted more time for authorities in Virgina to confirm that Chris would be able to carry out his punishment.

Schnegg does not want the R&B star to get an easy time, and wants him to complete 1,400 hours of "community labor," rather than community service.

If Brown does get labor, he'll be fulfilling duties such as cleaning roadsides and removing graffiti. The hearing is now scheduled for August 27th.

Last month he issued a video apology to Rihanna.
