Chris Brown Gets Plea Deal In Rihanna Assault Case

Chris Brown has reached a deal in court, after pleading guilty over allegations he assaulted ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

The 'Forever' singer faced a preliminary hearing yesterday (June 22) in Los Angeles Supreme Court.

Now Brown must stay away from Ri for five years and he'll be on probation. He'll also have to serve 80 hours of community service in his home state of Virginia.

A two-week domestic violence program is also part of the deal and Chris will be required to appear in the California court to report his progress every 3 months.

Rihanna had arrived at court in case she was asked to testify against her former partner.

Brown is now concentrating on making his music comeback later this year. He's currently at work on his new album 'Graffiti'.
