Chris Brown Dropped From Wrigley's Chewing Gum Campaign

A chewing gum campaign starring Chris Brown has reportedly been suspended, following his arrest for allegedly assaulting a woman at the weekend.

The 'Forever' singer is the face of Wrigley's Doublemint campaign, but bosses at the company have decided to pull any adverts for the time being.

"(We're) concerned by the serious allegations made against Chris Brown." A statement from Wrigley's reads. "We believe Mr. Brown should be afforded the same due process as any citizen."

"However, we have made the decision to suspend the current advertising featuring Brown and any related marketing communications until the matter is resolved."

Chris Brown handed himself into Los Angeles police on Sunday (February 8), and was arrested for felony battery. He was later released on bail of $50,000 and will have to face court on March 5.
