Chris Brown has blamed "anger" for his attack on ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
The 'I Can Transform Ya' singer was sentenced to five years probation and must attend anger-management classes, after he pleaded guilty to beating Ri in February.
In a fresh interview with MTV, that will air on Friday (Nov 6), Brown recalled the incident, saying: "My thoughts is like 'Why did it happen?' Like, 'What was I thinking? What is wrong with you?'"
"That's what I'm thinking with myself. That's what my thoughts are, basically, now."
Chris was then asked what tipped him over the edge and caused him to hit Rihanna. "Just anger. Yeah, anger." He said. "Young people, we do before we think."
He's also denied new claims that he is a new relationship, after photos of himself and a girl appeared on websites recently.
Brown has given a release date for his third album 'Graffiti' - December 15.
