Cheryl Cole Wanted To Start A Family Before Ashley Cheated

Cheryl Cole has revealed her plans to start a family with husband Ashley, before she found out that the footballer had cheated on her that is.

Speaking in the new Girls Aloud autobiography 'Dreams That Glitter', the X Factor judge admits all she could think about was trying for a baby before the devastating news:

"I was really broody, to the point where I'd see children and think that's me, I'm ready," she wrote. "It was all I was thinking about. All that was going through my head and I was thinking, do I start trying for a family after the tour and fit in around Girls Aloud?"

It looks like the singer is still hoping to start a family soon, as she adds: "These days there's no reason why you can't have a family and a career. I'm from a big family and I want a big family and that means I have to make a start soon - so watch this space."
