Cheryl Cole 'To Front US X Factor'

Cheryl Cole could be fronting a US edition of The X Factor - reports are saying.
Insiders suggest that pop mogul Simon Cowell wants to take his hit music contest overseas to the states, following the success of American Idol.
And Cowell reportedly wants the Girls Aloud star to have a job on the show.
A source tells the Daily Mirror: "He thinks she has amazing presence and her down-to-earth Northern charm will appeal to the American public. She is also an incredibly beautiful girl."
"She won't get paid anything like the million pound salary she's on here, because obviously she is not as well known in the States."
"But if it is a success, like most of Simon's shows are, it could catapult her into the big league."
The paper is claiming that NBC producers are heading over to the UK this weekend to watch Cole in action, to see if she is suitable for the lucrative role - which could help establish Cheryl in the States.
Cheryl celebrated her 26th birthday this week.
