Three cheerleaders from Texas were suspended from a school sporting events, because they did a routine to Katy Perry's controversial single I Kissed A Girl.
The girls performed a routine with the song as a backing track, while cheering at an American football match. However, their choice in music was deemed innapropriate due to its homosexual lyrics.
Jordan Downey, one of the cheerleaders, told KLTV: "We liked the song, we liked to twirl to it, it was fun. There was no backdoor meaning. We just wanted to twirl."
