Chamillionaire has cancelled his new album 'Venom', meaning the LP will no longer be released.
The rapper told fans of the pulled disc on his MySpace blog, where he wrote: "Fact. Venom isn't gonna drop. Its not coming out."
But despite the shelved follow-up to 2007's 'Ultimate Victory', Chamillionaire says, "I'm not dropped. Not depressed. I'm not sad. Just telling you what I'm thinking and what I'm gonna do."
It's not known just why 'Venom' has been canceled completely, or when he next plans to release an album.
Writing further on the blog, Chamillionaire adds: "You want me to 'keep it real' right? The label seems very excited about releasing new product and thats a good thing right?"
"There are a lot of people involved in the process now and what I think is dope is just becoming a different kind of dope. Fast forward. Scratch Venom. I'm not gonna call it something else and still release it either."
Known for his series of street mixtapes, Chamillionaire surprisingly says he will quit making the releases as he no longer finds them inspiring.
"No More underground mixtapes after part 7." He reveals. "No jacking beats and putting out full CDs. That Formula is old. To me. I have done it 100 million times and its just doesn't inspire me anymore."
"Sorry if it makes you feel a certain way. There are plenty other artists out there doing it that you can choose from."
