Cat Power Talks Second Covers Record

Cat Power (Chan Marshal) plans to record her second album of cover versions, after the success and popularity of the singer's 2000 album, The Covers Record.
Although it has not been revealed just yet who will be given the make-over treatment, Marshal has posted a message on her MySpace blog explaining her plans:
"Got message to mention next record comes out January - sorry far away. 24 covers to choose from...mixin record next week in Dallas with Stuart Sikes."
"It's gonna be called, duh, Covers Record 2. With so many covers tryin to decide if i should release COVERS RECORD 2 VOL.2 ???"
The blog also goes on to mention Cat Power having her wisdom tooth removed, but that's a different story altogether.
