Busta Rhymes Not Charged For Weapon Possession

A New York judge has ruled that Busta Rhymes could not be charged for possessing a weapon after the hip hop star was arrested for allegedly assaulting a fan in Chelsea this August.

Police found a machete in the back seat of his SUV, when he was arrested on August 21st. However, Judge Shawndya Simpson denied prosecutor's request to charge Rhymes.

He must return back to court on December 11th, as the rapper is still accused of assaulting the fan after the man spat on the SUV. The incident took place after Busta Rhymes performed at the Heineken Amsterjam concert in New York.
