Britney Spears Warns Fans About Bogus Afterparties

Britney Spears is warning her fans not to purchase tickets for bogus afterparties on her world tour.
The singer's 'Circus' tour gets underway this week, beginning tomorrow (March 3) in New Orleans and it seems some people are trying to mislead fans into parting with their cash.
A number of "parties" claiming to feature Britney have been advertised, but now a statement on her website says only one event is genuine - taking place in Montreal, Canada on March 20.
The statement reads: "Despite many rumors and advertisements, as of now, Britney Spears will not be appearing at any afterparties in any markets other then Montreal. Please don't mislead our fans."
"The only appearance Britney is scheduled to make is at Tribe/Hyper Club in Montreal. BritneySpears.com will bring you more information on any new appearances closer to the date."
