Britney Spears Circus Show Inspired By Her Breakdown?

Britney Spears is to dramatise her "breakdown" and recovery as part of her stage show on next year's 'Circus' tour, say reports.

Sources say the pop star will focus on the last 2 years, which saw Britney hospitalised while her mental health was evaluated and also losing custody of her two children.

"The first act sees the miserable star run away to join the circus," a source tells The Sun. "This mirrors her slide into unhinged behaviour."

"Her disturbing antics while suffering her meltdown are the focus of the second act, which takes place in the circus. Brit is seen having fun in this crazy world and falling in love with a circus freak."

"The final act focuses on Britney's salvation. She manages to prise herself away from the clutches of the circus to be reunited with her friends and family."

So far, Britney has only announced her US and UK tour dates, with more shows in other parts of the world expected to be announced soon.

In other news this week, Spears came under criticism from animal rights group PETA, for using elephants in her Circus video.
