Britney Spears Autobiography Claims Put In Doubt

Doubts have been raised as to whether Britney Spears has really been offered a multi-million dollar publishing deal.

Yesterday, rumors surfaced that the singer would release a series of autobiographies about her life so far, but it seems that not everyone has faith in the amount the pop star would have to sell to make the publishers a profit.

A source told OK! magazine: "That seems ridiculously high for a book deal. Even though she's a huge star, that doesn't mean anyone wants to read an autobiography by her. To make back that much of an advance, the publisher would have to sell Harry Potter-size numbers."

There has been no official confirmation or denial from Spears about the rumoured book deal as of yet.
