Bono 'Girls Aloud Are Cutting Edge'

U2's Bono has heaped praise on Girls Aloud, saying the band make "cutting edge" pop music.
The Sun quotes the Irish saying he wants to "be in Girls Aloud" while he was attending the Brit Awards last night, before adding: "Seriously, I think Girls Aloud are at the cutting edge of pop music."
"They are a great band and deserve to be centre stage." Bono added. "They have everything a pop band should have - songs, the look, it's all there."
The chart-topping girl group (who have just signed a new 3 album deal), won their first ever Brit Award at the ceremony, for their single 'The Promise'.
U2 performed their new song 'Get On Your Boots' at the event.
