Blur To Play Intimate Warm-Up Shows Next Year

Blur singer Damon Albarn says the band will play some smaller warm-up shows ahead of their large Hyde Park events in London next July.
Yesterday the group confirmed they had reformed their original line-up and will return to the stage in 2009. But now Albarn says fans will be able to see them at more than one gig:
"We have to play quite a few warm ups. I think we'll start really small and slowly... round the country," Damon told the BBC.
The 2009 shows will be the first for the original Blur line-up since 2000, when they performed at the Royal Festival Hall. It's also thought the group will be targetted to headline Glastonbury Festival 2009.
