Beyonce's First Album Was Almost Not Released

Beyonce has revealed she had trouble convincing her label to release her first album, because she was told the record wasn't good enough.
When Knowles left Destiny's Child, she recorded and released her debut solo LP 'Dangerously In Love' in 2003 - but fans nearly didn't hear the album.
Bey reveals just why the record almost remained unreleased. "In 2003 I had my first solo album." Contact Music quotes her saying. "But when I played it through for my record label, they told me I didn't have one hit on my album."
"I guess they were kinda right, I had five." Joked Knowles, before naming them: "'Dangerously In Love', 'Naughty Girl', 'Me, Myself and I', 'Baby Boy' and 'Crazy In Love'."
Beyonce recently revealed "it's not time to have kids yet".
