Beyonce is to perform on Strictly Come Dancing next month, and it appears the singer has chosen the show over appearing on the X Factor.

Reports say pop mogul and X Factor chief Simon Cowell is angry that Knowles has chosen the BBC rival over his Saturday evening show.

Cowell shouldn't be too bothered though, as he's managed to scoop both Britney Spears and Mariah Carey for this season's X Factor.

Last week's show saw a live performance from Girls Aloud.
