Beyonce Hopes For Sister Act Movie Role

Beyonce is reportedly keen to star in a remake of 'Sister Act'.
It's claimed that Knowles watched a West End musical of the 1992 Whoopi Goldberg-starring film in London recently, and was so impressed she wants to act in an updated version of the big screen movie.
According to the Daily Mail: "Beyonce has asked her representatives to persuade Disney to develop the show into a film vehicle for her."
"If this comes to pass, she would take on, in musical form, the part Whoopi Goldberg creates in the 1992 'Sister Act' film, although the stage version moves the action from the West Coast to Philadelphia."
Beyonce would step in to fill Goldberg's shoes in the movie, which would be filmed in 2011.
Following the sold-out London run, the stage show of Sister Act is heading to New York's Broadway towards the end of 2010.
