Beyonce, Carey, Usher 'For Michael Jackson Tribute'

Beyoncé and Mariah Carey are just some of the artists rumored to be recording songs for a Michael Jackson tribute album.

If all goes to plan, the album will see the singers covering some of Jacko's biggest hits - and proceeds will go to charity.

Besides those two artists, others tipped to be involved in the project are Whitney Houston, Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie, Usher and Diana Ross.

A source told the Daily Star: "The idea came from the memorial concert. Many fans asked if cover versions would be released and it seemed a wonderful idea."

"Some the biggest stars in the world have indicated they'd like to take part to pay their own respects and tribute to the King of Pop."

"This covers album is sure to be a massive worldwide hit with fans and could raise a fortune for Michael's favourite charities."
