Beth Ditto Slams Katy Perry Again

Beth Ditto of the Gossip has reignited her recent spat with Katy Perry.
The two were involved in a war of words, when Ditto slammed Katy's 'I Kissed A Girl', and saying: "She's offensive to gay culture, I'm so offended."
Perry then responded shortly after, saying Beth's comments were "tacky", and said she would never insult another musician's work.
In round 3, Ditto now tells Spinner: "It's not about Katy Perry. It's about this song and its innocence on her part. To [her], it's just this party song."
"But as a gay person, it's like, 'Oh, of course this straight person singing about kissing a girl goes straight to Top 40 and people buy this record."
"Who can give a f*** about real gay people?. It's like, 'Oh, that's what you think?"
"Of course, because you never thought about what a real gay person feels, and the impact that a song like that has on the gay world in a time of crucial civil rights'."
Gossip release their new 'Music For Men' album next week - check out the band's new video for Heavy Cross.
