Gossip vocalist Beth Ditto has slammed chart-topper Katy Perry for being "offensive to gay culture"
The singer was being interviewed for the current issue of Attitude magazine, when she accused Perry of cashing-in on her same-sex anthem.
Discussing 'I Kissed A Girl', Ditto says the song is a "boner dyke anthem for straight girls who like to turn guys on by making out or, like, faking gay."
"I hate Katy Perry!" Beth continues. "She's offensive to gay culture, I'm so offended."
"She's just riding on the backs of our culture without having to pay any of the dues and not being actually lesbian or anything at all."
The Gossip release their fourth album 'Music for Men' on June 22 (UK) / June 23 (US).
