Beastie Boys And Bloc Party Confirmed For Live Earth

Seventeen names have ben confirmed to perform at the UK leg of the forthcoming Live Earth concerts this Summer, which as we reported a while back, intend to raise the profile of the threat of global warming.
The UK event is taking place at Wembley Stadium on July 7th and so far, will include performances from Beastie Boys, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bloc Party, Razorlight, Snow Patrol and Foo Fighters among others.
Although the line-up is not complete, organisers have also confirmed that other acts signed up to play are James Blunt, David Gray, Madonna, Duran Duran, Damien Rice, Black Eyed Peas, Corinne Bailey Rae, Keane and Paolo Nutini.
Tickets for the show are available through a special ballot only, where fans will have to register if they want to attempt to purchase them.
Fans have to register in a 72 hour window from 12pm this Friday April 13th and then tickets go on sale on Wednesday April 18th, priced at £55 and limited to just two per person.
