BBC Reject Simon Cowell's Offer To Buy Top Of The Pops

The BBC have turned-down Simon Cowell's offer to buy Top of the Pops off them, so he can save the Christmas Special.
The pop mogul made the offer, after the broadcaster announced it was to axe the annual programme.
Now a spokesperson for the BBC tells The Sun, that they "couldn't accept Simon's offer."
The broadcaster will now air eight episodes of TOTP 2 instead, which will include some of the biggest songs of the year.
