Avril Lavigne Files For Divorce From Deryck Whibley

Avril Lavigne has filed for divorce from estranged husband Deryck Whibley.
The pair announced an end to their three year marriage last month, but are now making it official - Lavigne filed for divorce at a Los Angeles court on Friday (October 9), citing "irreconcilable differences".
Papers say the couple have not been together since September 4, and Avril won't be seeking spousal support - but she also doesn't want to give Whibley any money.
At the time of their separation, Avril wrote on her blog that the split was amicable, saying: "Deryck and I have been together for six-and-a-half years. I am grateful for our time together, and I am grateful and blessed for our remaining friendship."
"I admire Deryck and have a great amount of respect for him. He is the most amazing person I know, and I love him with all my heart. Deryck and I are separating and moving forward on a positive note."
