Arctic Monkeys have spoken about their recording time spent with Josh Homme - as the Queens of the Stone Age frontman is producing some of their new material.
The four-piece headed out to Joshua Tree in California for the sessions and now drummer Matt Helders describes their visit:
"We did a few days in the desert at Joshua Tree and it was amazing," Helders tells Music Week.
"The studio, where it is, is just like a house that's converted a bit into a studio, but the area surrounding it; you've never really seen anything like it."
"Before we went, he was kinda saying that special things happen there and we were all a bit like, 'What can he mean?'."
Arctic Monkeys are expected to release their third album in early 2009, but until then a live DVD - Arctic Monkeys At The Apollo - will be released on November 13th.
