Arctic Monkeys, Jon McClure To Stage Sheffield Festival

Members of Arctic Monkeys and Reverend and The Makers are staging a free four-day music festival in Sheffield.

The Tramlines Festival is being curated by Matt Helders, Jon McClure and Toddla T, taking place between July 24-27.

Staged at various venues, the event will also see a main stage located on Devonshire Green.

So far Little Boots and Pixie Lott are confirmed to perform, as well as The Panics. Even more names are to be announced in the coming weeks.

According to the festival's website, "the idea behind Tramlines was simple. Take over a weekend, fill the whole of Sheffield with music and showcase the energy and diversity of the Sheffield Music Scene."

"Every local band worth seeing – who isn't on tour will be there. The curators musical friends and family will be putting on a show."
