Animal Collective Announce Merriweather Post Pavilion Album

Animal Collective have recorded their ninth album and named it 'Merriweather Post Pavilion'.
The LP is the group's second since signing with Domino Records and will be hitting stores in the UK on January 12 2009, which presumably means US stores will get the LP on January 13 2009.
Animal Collective recorded the songs in early 2008 at Sweet Tea Recording Studio in Oxford, Mississippi with engineer Ben Allen.
