Amy Macdonald 'Hasn't Made Any Money From Her Music'

You may think Amy Macdonald is rolling in it, after selling more than 600,000 copies of her double platinum debut album 'This Is The Life' - but she insists she hasn't seen any money from sales.
The singer-songwriter has blamed expensive studio costs, plus the price of touring, on her lack of receiving any payments.
"I have yet to make one penny from album sales." Macdonald told fans on her Twitter page. "People don't realise how much it costs to make and release an album."
"You don't have a proper idea about gigs. The money is all swallowed up by promoters and agents. I haven't made money from gigs".
