Amy Macdonald 'Can't Wait To Release New Album

Amy Macdonald has spoken about recording her second album, which the Scottish singer-songwriter is hoping to release early next year.

Talking about her recent work schedule, Amy says: "As well as touring across Europe, I've also been very busy in the recording studio over the summer."

"We have a selection of songs recorded and I have to say I'm really excited. I can't wait for all you guys to hear them and I promise it won't be a long time."

"We're hoping to release the album early next year so it's only really a few months." Macdonald said.

"Pete has done an amazing job with the production, some of the sounds are just amazing and they are exactly how I imagined my little acoustic ditties when I handed them all over." Amy added.

"We've also managed to persuade one of my favorite artists to whack some stuff down on them but you'll have to wait and see."

Last month Amy claimed she hasn't made a penny from her music.
