Amerie Returns With 'In Love & War' Album

Amerie is to make her long overdue return this month.
The singer announced she had signed with Def Jam in 2008, but has remained quiet since.
Now there is news of her forthcoming releases - the song 'Why R U' will be heard on radio from June 15 (but can be heard on MySpace now) and serves as the lead single from her album 'In Love & War' (out in August).
A video for 'Why R U' has just been completed by director Ray Kay (Lady Gaga), and is due to premiere on June 8.
Amerie has worked with some great names on her Def Jam debut, including Sea Garrett, Jim Jonson, Rico Love, Teddy Riley and Eric Hudson, reports Billboard.
