Akon To Leave The US If John McCain Becomes President

Akon has vowed to jump ship to Africa and leave the US - if Barack Obama is not successful in his bid to win the presidential election today (November 4).
"If he [Obama] doesn't get into office, I'm gonna change my citizenship," Akon is quoted as saying. "I'm moving back to Africa. You can hold me to that. I'm afraid to live there if he [rival John McCain] is President."
Akon also says the idea of Sarah Palin being president is an equal reason to leave the States: "I don't think he's going to last eight years so she's definitely going to be president. Oh my goodness - that's scarier."
