Akon To Face Trial Over Fan-Tossing Incident

Akon will face trial over his alleged "fan-tossing" incident, where it's claimed he threw a 15-year-old off the stage and into the crowd during a live performance in 2007, at a baseball stadium in New York.
Today (September 3), the singer / rapper asked for a trail by jury in Fishkill Town Court, so will now return to court to face a hearing on December 1.
According to the Associated Press, Akon has pleaded not guilty to misdemeanour charges of endangering the welfare of a minor and second-degree harassment.
