Akon Fan-Tossing Court Case Pushed Back Until Later This Month

Akon's "fan-tossing" court hearing has been postponed until later this month.
The singer should have appeared at Fishkill Town Court yesterday (Monday December 1), but now officials have pushed back the hearing until December 17.
Akon has pleaded not guilty to claims that he threw a 15-year-old fan into the crowd as he performed in New York in Summer 2007.
According to reports, Dutchess County Senior Assistant District Attorney Anthony Parisi told the court: "I think, on 17 December we'll know for certain whether we're going to have a trial or whether that will resolve the matter."
