Akon Fails To Attend Court This Week

Akon failed to attend a court hearing in New Tork this week, over charges for 'fan tossing' at a concert in 2007.
The singer / rapper has already appeared in court for the case in December of last year, where he pleaded not guilty. The charges are for second degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a minor - after he threw 15-year-old Anthony Smith off the stage.
After he failed to appear, a judge ordered that Akon must return to court again on September 3rd for a possible deposition.
