The Ting Tings To Start Work On Second Album

The Ting Tings hope to release their second album next year and plan to head into the studio in early 2009.

The pair told Teletext of their plans to quickly record a sequel to their hit debut 'We Started Nothing'.

"The last record took three or four months to write, and we're looking at a similar time for the next one," says Jules De Martino - the band's drummer.

Singer Katie White also revealed that she may be trying her hand at a different instrument on the new LP: "I tried learning bass to help on the new songs."

"I'm good on rhythm guitar, but I quickly worked out bass is not my instrument." Adds White. "That won't affect the new songs too much."
