Leona Lewis Discusses London Knife Crime

Leona Lewis has said that she thinks the lack of youth clubs in London could have added to the rise in crime.
The singer revealed that several of her friends have been involved in incidents recently, and believes that it could be down to young people having nothing to do.
"A few years ago all these youth clubs were shut down in Hackney. It means you have kids out on the street with nowhere to go and nothing to do, and it's a recipe for trouble," Lewis is quoted as saying.
The amount of crime in the area hasn't yet put the X Factor winner off living in the area though.
"I actually love Hackney. I don't want to see it get worse and worse. When the time came for me to get my own place, I couldn't think of anywhere I'd rather be." She added.
