Simply Red Have announced a 2009 tour, as well as a new greatest hits album for next month.

Fans will be able to buy 'Simply Red: Greatest Hits 25' on November 17 and the album will be self-released through the band's own simplyred.com label.

The package features 25 tracks on a double CD, including 'Go Now' - a cover version of The Moody Blues classic, that will also to be released as a single this November.

A Limited Edition 3 disc set with a 25 track DVD will also be available.

Spring 2009 will also see the group touring the UK, as the band will play ten arena shows during March and April. After this, Simply Red will split in 2010 - 25 years after they released their first single.
