Beenie Man Escapes $1 Million Tax Bill

Beenie Man has escaped tax evasion charges, after he was accused of owing as much as $1 million in unpaid fees.
The raggae star and dancehall artist was cleared in court in his native Jamaica, as the government claimed he owned outstanding taxes.
However, Judge Owen Parkin said Beenie Man was not informed of his legal rights by tax auditors, so will not have to pay the large figure.
