Kelis will no longer be charged with disorderly conduct, following an incident that occurred in 2007.
Last year the singer was arrested in Miami, for verbally abusing two cops and later resisting arrest.
It was claimed at the time that female officers were posing as prostitutes and talking to men - including Kelis' husband Nas - which caused the argument to break out. She was freed at the time on $1,500 bail.
Now The Associated Press says the R&B star has now been cleared of the charges on Thursday (September 12).
Kelis is quoted as saying she is "happy that justice prevailed" and that she also hopes the incident has "shedded light on the fact that wearing a uniform and carrying a badge does not allow you to act above the law."
